Food production and business units and individuals must operate in good faith, earnestly perform the main responsibility of food safety, strictly prohibit the use of various types of illegal additives, standardize the use of food additives, and ensure product quality and safety.

Any entity or individual is strictly prohibited from using any chemical substances other than food additives and other substances that may be harmful to human health in food production and operation. It is forbidden to use illicit drugs or other substances that may harm human health in the cultivation, breeding, processing, acquisition, and transportation of agricultural products. substance. In case of intentional illegal addition, relevant licenses shall be revoked, and their illegal income and relevant articles used in illegal production and management shall be confiscated in accordance with the law. They shall be required to compensate for the harm caused and shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.

The principal responsible persons and relevant persons responsible for the production and sale of illegal additives by underground factory owners and major illegal sales personnel, as well as the units that have concentrated their use of illegal additives to produce food, shall be transferred to the judicial authorities for prompt rectification.

Illegal production and sales of non-edible substances that may be used in foods released by the State and substances prohibited from use in feed and drinking water are strictly prohibited. The production unit must indicate on the product label that “processing for food and feed is strictly prohibited” and establish a sales office. Accounts, the implementation of real-name purchase and sales system, is strictly prohibited to sell food and feed production and marketing units.

It is forbidden to produce, sell, and use food additives that do not meet the national standards for food safety, and it is strictly prohibited to use food additives beyond the limits of the national standards.

Food production and operation units shall implement the relevant records and inspection systems in strict accordance with regulations.
