After enlistment, there will be a certain number of out-of-shelf cattle in rural areas each year to be sold in bulk on the market. However, due to the poor weight of the cattle, the market price is low, and the income of the farmers is low. In order to increase the price of commodity cows and eliminate the income of cattle farmers, I will now introduce the short-term fast fattening techniques for shelf cattle as follows. The first drive is to drive off the parasites inside and outside the shelf. This is one of the key measures to accelerate the short-term fattening of the shelf cattle. The parasites of various nematodes, roundworms, schistosomiasis, cysticerci, etc. are often parasitized in the body of cattle, seriously affecting the growth and development of cattle. The use of broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low-toxic albendazole (dose according to the product specification) to directly administer or carry out the three-stomach administration of insecticide, the best effect. The bovine ectoparasite can be rubbed with 1% - 3% solution of trichlorfon. The second supplement is to add mixed concentrates and urea and additives. Diet preparation: corn 250g - 550g, rice bran or wheat bran 400g - 1000g, urea 50g - 150g, calcium carbonate or bone meal 50g, salt 45g. The average amount of concentrate per cow per day is 500-750 grams and urea 50-150 grams. Feed the feeds one at a time and let the cows drink water every one hour after feeding. The three short ones are to feed the cows with a one-meter-long beef rope. Feeding with troughs and pots limits cattle movement, reduces bovine energy consumption, and accelerates fat deposition. The second is to feed the cow's forage to shorten it, in order to increase the feed intake and digestibility of the cattle, and increase nutrition. It is best to feed straw with urea and feed it to the cattle. After ammoniating of straw, feed intake and digestibility can be increased by 20%, crude protein content is increased by 1 to 2 times, and 1 kg of ammoniated straw is equivalent to 0.4 to 0.5 kg of grain. 3600 kilograms of ammoniated straw can be used to fatten a shelf of cattle. The third is short-term fattening. The entire fattening period is 50 days to 80 days and can be divided into three phases. The first stage of 5 days - 10 days, mainly tuned cattle trough, eat a good mix of feed. The method is to use a small amount of mixed concentrate (without adding urea and salt) to mix ammoniated straw feed, or hungry cattle for a day or two before feeding. At this time, the cattle are heavily fed and will soon adapt to the ammoniated feed. Usually after 2 days - 3 days of training, you can eat on the trough. In the second stage, from 10 days to 15 days, the amount of mixed concentrate should be gradually increased on the feeding. Each day, 700g-750g of mixed concentrate and 100-120g of urea can be used on each shelf of cattle, and the ammoniated straw feed can be used. No longer use urea. One or two times a day, the cattle are combed and scraped, and the forage should satisfy the cow's free intake. The third stage is 35 days - 55 days. This is an important period for short-term fast fattening of shelf cattle. The amount of feed per cow should be increased from 750 g to 1000 g, urea to 150 g (ammoniated feed should not be fed with urea), and high quality hay. Ammoniated straw feed allows cattle to eat freely, so it is advisable to feed them at night and add nightgrass at 10pm. After short-term raising, the cattle on the shelf can be fat and thick, with an average weight gain of 60 kg to 80 kg per head. At this time, the fattening cattle should be sold in time, followed by feeding the next batch of cattle. China Agricultural Network Editor
