In this study, Professor Robin May found that the signal that controls the behavior of white blood cells, ERK5, can be manipulated to make white blood cells better excrete pathogens or to seal pathogens in cells and to give pathogens. Longer killing.
"We found that after silence of the ERK5 gene in zebrafish, the probability of vomiting of white blood cells increased, thus preventing the infection of deadly fungi from spreading into the brain," Robin May said.
