Because the small melon worm invades the skin and axillary tissue of the fish, the fish tissue cells are used as a nutrient, resulting in necrosis of the fish tissue, impeding respiration, and ultimately leading to death.
Prevention: Soaking with formalin at a concentration of 50 g/m3 water body concentration has a certain effect; it can also be controlled by raising the water temperature above 25° C. during seedling cultivation, preferably 28° C. to 30° C., and the effect is good.
