At the time of watering, high yields do not affect flowering, and many fruit growers are not sure. Moreover, some apple orchards have poor site conditions, especially in mountainous areas where water shortages are serious, and most of them depend on Tianyangyuan, so grasping the supply of water is an important part of apple production. Based on my many years of experience, the author puts forward the following views for reference of fruit farmers.
First, germination before flowering. During this period, the temperature was low, the leaf curtain was not formed, and the water requirement was less. However, watering this time can relieve the cell division caused by the lack of water after flowering, hinder flowering, and prevent freezing at the flowering stage.
Second, the new long-wang. During this period, the temperature has been continuously increased, the amount of leaves has increased, and the demand for water has increased dramatically. Especially within one month after flowering, if there is a lack of water, it will lead to a variety of symptoms such as small, malformed and fruity apples. The author suggests that if this period is particularly dry, create conditions to pour water once.
Third, flower bud differentiation period. The fruit trees need less water during this period, and the water will affect the flowers. If the rain is heavy, pay attention to drainage and air drying. If it is particularly dry, only spray half of the entire tree body or spray water on the tree.
Fourth, the fruit expansion period. During this period, the temperature was high, the leaf thickness was thick, the fruit swelled fast, and the water consumption was high. Try to pour water once.
V. Before fruit harvesting. During this period, the temperature gradually decreased, the water in the fruit leaves decreased, and the air had a certain humidity, which was conducive to the coloration of the fruit. However, excessive water will affect the coloring of the fruit. Therefore, during this period of drought, water can be sprayed on the trees sooner or later, instead of pouring water. When the rain is heavy, be sure to pay attention to drainage or air-drying.
Sixth, after fruit picking before falling into leaves. This period is the key period of storage nutrition, combined with fertilizer watering, is conducive to full flower buds, it is necessary to pour a large water.
VII. Dormancy period. This period requires the least amount of water, but it still needs a certain amount of water supply.
